Not Another F*ing Challenge!

Ok, so I'm exhausted, but I am committed to showing up today to write this post, even if it's at 11:40 pm. lol.

I know the first step to accomplishing anything in life is first to BEGIN. I told my friends on IG LIVE last Sunday that I would give myself a 30-day blog post challenge, and I started it the following day. So one checkmark for me, please!

This self-inflicted dare is important to me because I've struggled with follow-through my whole life. This 30-day challenge to myself is more about learning how to be committed, stay consistent, and most importantly, keep my word to myself. The writing, which I am enjoying, is secondary. The odd thing about this being my 7th one in a row is I feel my creativity levels in other areas seem to be growing as well. It's as if I've opened a flood gate of word vomit that wants to pour out. Whether the blogs are good or not is irrelevant to my challenge.

If you happen to read this, I want to extend a challenge to you.

What is something you keep saying you want to do but have been procrastinating on? Whatever the first answer comes to mind, I challenge you to show up for the next 30 days, and JUST F*ing DO IT!

It can be something simple, or it can be a bit larger and scarier, which is the more fun experiment! It can be a 5-minute daily commitment, or it can be a promise to yourself that requires more of your time.

I've had some unexpected challenges with my newfound pledge, but that's part of the fun! If it were all smooth sailing, it wouldn't be a challenge. #pow
