Happy Birthday, Love!

My love and I have been together for almost ten years. And today is his birthday, which also happens to be International Women's Day. (He loves that!)

From day one till today, he makes a point to walk me to my car and open the door when I leave. He cooks amazing food when I don't feel like making dinner. He always makes sure I'm safe and feel safe. And he takes such great care of our fur babies.

He's super low-key and, at the same time, remarkable.

He has this incredible soft spot for the elderly that makes my heart melt.

Once a week, he goes to a food pantry to help hand out free groceries for the less fortunate.

He also saves clothes and shoes to give to the homeless. And he will at times buy them free pizzas so more than one person can have food for the night.

He's a very considerate driver to others to the point where I get annoyed. lol

He has this special way of pouring his heart into the select few he allows into his circle and only wants the BEST for us.

He's charming, funny, and handsome. And he uses his charm and humor to get out of tense moments quickly. 

He probably doesn't want me saying this to you, but he's a talented writer, creative, and drummer. And he's got this uncanny 6th sense of intuition but doesn't let people know. He keeps that one very close to his chest.

His love language is by showing you he cares. The words are secondary.

And most of all, he wants to help in any way he can. All he wants to do is to make others' lives a little easier by going above and beyond without that person ever knowing he helped.

He's literally an Angel.

And I am so thankful to share this incredible thing called Life with him and our fur babies.
