Commit.

Today is one of those days where I'm not feeling it. I would rather get ready to sleep than sit here and write. Yet I can not explain the compulsion to sit here and get words to "paper." 

Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary of writing this blog, and I am super proud of the follow-through and the commitment it took to accomplish this goal.

It started with committing to just 30 days. But once I hit it, I couldn't quit. There is this strange need to write every day no matter what.

Now I have a new commitment I've added in for the next 30 days: to write at a different time for another reason. And, so far, it's been great.

It's funny how both writing sessions feel different because this one is for the public, and the other is for something I'm working on in private.

Yesterday I reread some old posts, and I almost can't believe I wrote them. It's fascinating. Or at least I find it fascinating! It's as if they are a timestamp of my thoughts for the day. And they are out on the internet for as long as the internet exists. I mean, we'll see how long the internet lasts. lol

As I sit here, I'm not exactly sure where this is all going, but I know I MUST show up and write. 

If you're reading this, I appreciate you. Thank you for listening. And I applaud you for having enough attention span to get this far! Yay, you proved you're not a goldfish!

All jokes aside, I really am grateful you're here.
