Who needs an Accountabilibuddy?

30-day challenge accountability aim commitment confidence consistency desire desired result every day follow-through future self habit morning routine now responsibility writing Mar 10, 2021

I wonder what the difference is between my commitment to writing a blog post every day and my desire to have a consistent morning routine with yoga and meditation?

I can clearly see I used the word "commitment" and "desire" when discussing the two outcomes. That is already a tell-tell sign of the difference.

Although I really want to have a consistent daily yoga/ meditation morning practice, I'm not quite sure how I've been able to commit to writing and not the morning routine.

Since I've started this writing venture, I have shown up no matter how I feel, and there have been days when it was 11:30 pm, and I walked over to my computer and began.

And as the commitment to writing gets more substantial, my timing has even improved. I no longer wait until the last minute to start writing, and I can complete the posts quicker.

So what gives with the other habits I want to implement?

Maybe I need to share my goals with someone publicly like I did the writing?

I'll guess now is better than never.

I'm publicly committing to establishing a solid morning routine that looks like the following:

  1. For the next 30 days, I am waking up every morning at 6:30 am. Oof!
  2. Facial dry brushing routine.
  3. Tea/ Sweep
  4. Look at Daily Schedule
  5. Foam Roll/ Listen to Inspirational YouTube video
  6. 20 mins Yoga
  7. 20 mins Meditation
  8. Goal/ Forgiveness Journal
  9. Read
  10. Walk the doggies! (if weather permits)

After all of that, go to my Brain Room and get to work!

I've gone over my morning routine many times but never said it publicly. (Publicly meaning for my 2 readers of the blog! lol)

This is what I'm committed to doing EVERY MORNING for the next 30 days. And as much as I don't believe myself yet, I know I can do it because I can see my daily writing practice commitment.

NOW it's your turn!

I've shown you mine, and now I want to see yours, lol!

Here's what I want you to do: Email me ONE THING you're going to COMMIT to for the next 30 days. EMAIL ME HERE!

I'm absolutely serious when I say, "EMAIL ME HERE!"

I know having an accountability partner definitely helps the odds of success!

So what are you waiting for? EMAIL ME!

Your Future Self will thank you for it!

With lots of LOVE,

Teresa
