I bought an NFT of a print from Tara McPherson on the VeVe App. It's called the Wanderers.

When I first saw it, I knew I had to have it. But then, once I owned it, something else happened.

I was looking at it, and this overwhelming feeling of the girl and the wolf together was my Jaggy and me.

I go over to him as he's laying on the sofa and realize how special our bond is. Every night Jagger follows me into my office while I sit at my desk to write on the computer or watch Youtube videos. He's so loyal, loving, and patient, waiting for my next move.

Jagger taught me something about God when he first came into my life in 2012.

The plan was to be foster parents so Gabe and I could help dogs in need find their furever home. And a week in, I KNEW Jagger was my dog. But for some reason, I thought I had to sacrifice something else in order to be deserving of him. I was an emotional wreck.

I wanted him to stay, but I didn't think I could keep him. As if it wasn't okay to want him.

And then I started to ask myself, "why don't I think I CAN keep him?" And the only thing that came up was this needing to be worthy of him.

I did some soul searching and realized one of the most powerful lessons I've ever learned in my life.

God wants what I want.

And then I understood I don't have to sacrifice anything to receive it either.

I hope you hear what I'm saying.

God wants what YOU want, and you never have to prove, defend, or explain yourself to anyone or anything because God wants what YOU want. Period.

In the process of adopting Jagger, I realized that the only thing getting in the way of experiencing the life we dream of is OURSELVES.

You, my friend, DESERVE IT ALL. PERIOD.

With lots of LOVE,
Jaggy and Me (Wanderers)
