Unspoken.

One of my favorite things to watch is seeing my dogs make a decision for themselves.

Like my doggie Jagger, he was standing at the doorway looking at me. I was hand gesturing for him to come to me, but he just quietly stood there. He contemplated walking over to me to sit on my lap or lay in his bed.

Without a word spoken, I waited to see what he would choose.

How fascinating? To be able to share our daily lives with these loving creatures.

They have their own desires and needs. And in return, they pour Unconditional Love, joy, connection, trust, humor, loyalty, and affection back at us.

I sometimes wonder if they feel fulfilled, are they happy, or bored?

There's something so incredible about sharing a life with beings that can't even speak the same language as us. And yet, they are constantly communicating PERFECTLY.

My fur babies have taught me so much about establishing a reverence for ALL LIFE, from the squirrels to the bees to the hummingbirds to the ants to the mice to the hawks to the rollie pollies to the lizards, spiders, butterflies, ladybugs, and even the roaches.

They all have a place and a purpose on our shared planet. Aaah, how wonderful?!

It's as if we get to witness Life being Life. And from what I can see, it is absolutely WONDERFUL.
