The Weight of the Past.

The Past is a very interesting and intangible part of life. Either it weighs us down, or we have figured out how to cut the cord.

There is no middle ground.

Remembering all of the hurtful things people did to us or feeling the guilt of our hurtful actions keeps us stuck from experiencing the Present moment. When we hold onto the painful Past, it makes us blind to the Perfection that surrounds us.

So what are we to do?

We either keep the pain and suffering going into the Now moment, or we decide it's time to let the attachment go.

The direct course to shedding the Past is through FORGIVENESS.

We can say we forgive someone all we want, but if we bring it up in conversation or find ourselves thinking about it regularly, then that means we haven't healed that chapter yet.

Being human, we will always have something to move through, but it's up to us to discover how to enjoy the beauty of life without all of the baggage.

Unless you like carrying all that burden around everywhere you go?

There is no wrong answer. And at the same time, there is a better way.

Do yourself a favor and let it go. Cut the cord. Move on.
