The Wall.

Did you know you can still disagree with someone and still make space for them in your life?

Unfortunately, many relationships and friendships have severed or distanced because both parties have pain points they aren't willing to discuss.

It all boils down to communication. The flow of give and take is cut off, and a wall has been built in the middle. No one is willing to open themselves back up to feeling rejected. So the wall remains.

How long will we allow these fortresses to stay up? Then, when will we do our part to be the first to extend an olive branch?

As much as I want to take the High Road and reach out, I know I'm not ready. And at the same time, I know that I am willing. Maybe not right now, but I know there's space for them.

Maybe some relationships aren't meant to be mended? Maybe some ran their course, and it's okay to let go and move on?

With enough willingness to look at our side of the street and what part we played in the distancing, we'll be able to decipher which ones once were and which ones might come back around.

Either way, all of it is the right answer. #trusttheprocess
