The Pit of Righteousness.

One of the best ways to move forward in the current state of the world is to STAY OPEN.

No matter what people's beliefs are, there seem to be a lot of fixed mindsets debating each other. And this is getting us NOWHERE.

The truth is there are facts and stats to back up whatever side people choose to be on. And part of the challenges up ahead will either grow larger or begin to melt away depending on our WILLINGNESS to concede.

To be clear, I don't mean conceding to other's desires and giving your Power away. I mean being willing to say, "Maybe I don't know the whole story. And maybe there are missing pieces to this puzzle I don't even know exist."

Yes, we can all say we "know" the facts and stats, but where does that lead us?

Answer: Division, Separation, Resentment, Pain, Resistance, Frustration, and Anger.

And like Abraham-Hicks says, "Would you rather be right or happy?"

My guess is most of us are fighting each other to be the "right" one. Which means happiness goes straight out the window. And this means we are all playing Life in the victim role.

Although I have fallen far into the pit of righteousness with most people, I know what I really want. I would rather be happy, empowered, and deliberately create my life. All the while knowing and staying true to what's right for me and only me. Never forcing my truth onto anyone else.

So right now, we have a choice to dig the pit deeper and keep trying to correct one another or find our personal way back to togetherness, love, and joy.

Trust me, when you're as opinionated as I am, the road to climbing out of the hole can be a challenge. But, this is why we must do our best to keep our hearts and minds OPEN.

We weren't put on Earth to act so virtuously. Instead, we are meant to discover, create, and be LOVE.

Anything less than that is futile.
