Perception is EVERYTHING.

Perception is everything. This is why two people can be on the same road trip together in the same car for the same amount of time to the exact same destination and have completely different experiences.

We know this makes sense, yet we seem to have a difficult time Re-Membering this one little part in the mass chaos at the moment. And when I say "we," I really mean me. Lol

The state of current events seems to be very divided, with a few people who can straddle the middle.

And if you've followed my opinions through social media, then you already know which way I lean.

That being said, the one thing I personally lost sight of is the point stated above. Through all of the emotions, facts, conspiracy theories, canceling, and division, the truth is EVERYONE has their own personal perspective. And regardless of my personal beliefs, others are entitled to believe the complete opposite. It doesn't make them wrong. It makes them human expressing their free will.

Even as I write this, I still fight with myself on it not being okay for people to agree and support mandates of the experimental drug. And that sentence proves the point.

I don't have to agree. I can even think it's flat-out wrong. But I'm NOT them. I don't know what it's like to walk in their shoes and feel, see, and understand what they think. There's no way for me to fully comprehend what led them to this exact point in time to go against fundamental human rights.

So this is my inner work at the moment. I'm learning to make space by letting go of my judgments of others. And as you can clearly see, I have some deep inner work to do!

I wrote a few affirmations to help me let go of my judgments that I'd like to share with you.

1. I choose BE-ing flexible and open-minded.
2. I feel flexible and open-minded.
3. I AM flexible and open-minded.

Again perception is EVERYTHING! And our perceptions CAN be changed.

Now isn't that wonderful to know?!

All we need to change is willingness.
