Not Eye to Eye

It's no secret that there seems to be a lot of division in the world on all things political and moral. And somehow, we have been imprinted to define our morals based on political agendas. Mind you, this is not a commentary on my personal beliefs. If you've read past posts, you know where I land.

I'd like us to consider that no matter what "side" we are on, each of us is doing what we're doing for the betterment of humanity. Where we differ is in how we serve humanity and what our values are.

From a moralistic viewpoint, we are all naturally good people with the desire to improve ourselves, which in turn improves the world. And no one is at fault for the way they show up.

The more I think about it, we are missing the point. We're all doing our part. And again, we're just going about it differently. Our diversity is what makes life incredibly interesting. Without opposing views, we would all be the same, think the same, do the same, and have the same.

How lame does that sound?!

There's no creative energy in being and thinking the same.

So here's to maintaining space for people who don't see eye to eye. Their beliefs are part of the creative nature that keeps the evolution of Life going. And for that matter, so do ours.
