Mirror, Mirror.

...on my phone.

Who is the person I'm looking at?

That person on your phone or tv is your reflection of you.

They are either a positive or negative version of what you think and feel about yourself. They are the Shadow and the Light. The acceptable and the rejected parts of you.

There was a time when I was listening to a lot of Louise Hay. I had this one CD on repeat. (Yes, CD! Lol)

She kept saying the person you are having a challenge with is a reflection of yourself. And the conflict is really a conflict from within.

If you say, "They are always trying to control things." Then you're acknowledging the controlling part of yourself that you don't like.

If you say, "They are selfish." Then there's an area in your life where you are the one being selfish, and you don't like it when you're selfish.

If you say, "They are disrespectful." Then you're really saying you are the one being disrespectful and you don't like that part of yourself.

We seem to think the other person is the one that needs to change to make us feel better. But this isn't how Life works.

What we see out in the world, good or bad, reflects our state of mind. So it's really up to us who shows up in our world.

If you want happy, loving, carefree people in your life, then you have to BE that first.

With all of the chaos in the world right now, the best way to move forward is to look at ourselves in the mirror and own it all.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. God knows we need it.

With lots of LOVE,
Teresa
