Justice is tearing us apart.

A Course In Miracles says, "God knows of no injustice."

Could you imagine people not needing vengeance or repercussions?

We would not need a form of justice if people understood the beginning of destruction starts from within. Whether it's a cry for help, attention, love, or the feelings of despair, anguish, and loneliness, all outward actions that cause another to suffer are because there is a need not being met. The pain one feels when expressed outwardly is the root of why humanity requires justice. So unknowingly, we want to make each other accountable and see the error of our ways. But humanity's version of justice will never be able to do that.

It would also mean humans would always make decisions that do not go against themselves, and in turn, they can not hurt another. Hence no need for justice.

Also, I understand the ACIM quote to mean that God does not see right or wrong, good or bad, and when things happen, they just are. So God does not judge us. Because to judge us means to judge Itself. And God is Perfect, Whole, and Complete. So what is there to judge in Its own Perfection?

If we could all learn how to clean up our own side of the street without needing someone else to clean theirs, we would not need humanity's version of justice because the only natural justice comes in the form of love.

Another way of putting it. Justice tears us apart. Love heals us all.

With lots of LOVE,
Teresa
