Giving Your Heart a Home.

Oooo weee! All I want to do is go to bed. But then there's that unwavering pull to my desk to put ideas to the page. At this point in the daily commitment to write, I've started getting satisfaction before I show up. Getting to play with words, ideas, and inspiration feels so good.

I'm happy to have the space to share and express whatever needs to come out. It's my own little world of creativity. And if you've been following these posts, you know I don't care if it's any good, partially because I don't know what good writing looks like.

What I do know is, every day is honest. I give you all of me. Creating space for the blips of ideas that are calling to be said.

That's what creativity is. Your creative nature is your Insides needing space and time to be expressed. And yet our fear of being judged, or worse, ignored, can kill the needs of our ideas before they get a chance to see the light of day.

I suggest picking one medium of expression. Whether that's podcasting, blogging, vlogging, tik toking, IG, dancing, acting, playing an instrument, directing, singing, photography, or graphic design, you get the idea and do it every day. The length of time is unimportant. It's all about honoring your voice. The amount of progress, confidence, and fulfillment that comes with giving your heart a home will be the biggest reward of all.

Those ideas, talents, and gifts that you're sitting on are calling you. You know what I'm talking about.

It's time to come home to yourself and let it loose.
