First to Throw a Stone.

accountability be better cancel culture censorship illusion judgment separation Feb 07, 2022

It's one of those times where I'm not feeling much of anything. So my go-to move in writing is to let whatever comes out come out.

I literally debated if I should leave the previous sentence as is. Lol. It sounds a bit dirty. And I think it's hilarious!

It's funny how we edit ourselves because we don't want to sound a certain "way" or come across as not likable. It's so strange. We are constantly editing ourselves more than ever.

And the cancel culture mob is ferocious! Look out, Joe Rogan! They are coming to get you!

They tried the same thing with Dave Chappel. Boy, they did their best to get him taken down a few pegs.

It didn't work.

And thank God it didn't.

The thing the cancel mob doesn't understand is if we all shined a light on their misgivings, trust me, they would not like how the tables would turn.

The truth is, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US has something someone else wants to cancel.

It's like what the Bible says in John 8:7 "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

Anyone wanting to cancel someone else needs a good hard look in the mirror first.
