Ego at Play

The ego is a trip. It will get us to justify just about anything and everything. With the "right" set of circumstances, the ego can fool us into believing our reasons as valid.

When we allow the ego to run the show, there is no room for learning and growth at that moment. Not to say there will never be growth from a specific ego situation. But, that type of evolution requires Spirit to come in and pull us out and through.

This is the ebb and flow of being human. Understanding no one is perfect in showing up in their best light. We all have not-so-bright moments.

Yes, we can learn a thing or two about judging others less, not cutting people off for being human, and noticing when the ego is at play. 

This is not to make someone wrong. It's to point out that maybe there's room for that person to evolve and choose love next time.

And it's okay to want others to do better as long as we're raising the bar in our own lives. This is a two-way street.

Re-Membering, when we point at a person, three fingers are pointing back at ourselves.

Also, Re-Membering that what we see in others, whether we deem good, bad, or indifferent, is a reflection for us to learn and grow from as well. And this allows us to point those three fingers at ourselves and ask, "Where can I do better? Where am I showing up like that and possibly want to change and improve?"

Other people's messes are becoming more and more aired out in public. And what a great opportunity to self-reflect when we feel triggered negatively or positively.
