D.I.G. Deep

The more we go down the self-development/ spiritual journey, the pieces of the puzzle to Life become more apparent. It's like there's awareness after awareness in almost rapid fire. Or at least that's what's currently happening in my life.

It's as if I'm obsessed with understanding what it means to be human and how to undo all of the past and current conditioning. My insatiable desire to free myself from obligation, need, control, force, judgment, shoulds, and rules keeps me in a constant state of curiosity.

What makes us tick, react, and succeed?

Why do we suffer from mental and emotional anguish?

How do we make space for each person's values and perspectives?

In my quest to dig deep into the human experience, the answers always lead back to touching God's Wisdom and Truth. Each ah-ha realization is another undoing of social norms. Ah-ha, freedom, ah-ha, freedom, ah-ha, freedom...

I share all this because, in our search for meaning, the answers require us to go deep, deep, deep down within. Our paradigm shift of asking others what we should do about "X.Y.Z." is the old way of moving through our daily challenges. Now we're moving into the Power we've always been since Eternity. We are finally looking for guidance and inspiration from the One place that is true, real, and wise... the God-Self.

It's time to take ownership of our relationship to our experiences and claim, "I did that!" Yes, that's how Powerful we are. Yet it requires us to be courageous enough to D.I.G. It requires us to no longer play the blame game, shame game, and guilt game with everyone who did us wrong. Instead, it requires us to forgive it all, including ourselves. It requires us to be willing, open, and ready. It requires us to honor their truth is just as valid, no matter what. Finally, it requires learning to love ourselves and others unconditionally, fully, and whole-heartedly.

To go within isn't the easy road, but it is the most rewarding.
