Cycle of Goodness

affirmations deliberate creator good habit manifest powerful subconscious words Jun 25, 2022

Today one of my friends/ coaches, Lizzy Rich, had the mastermind I'm a part of, starting our day with counting affirmations. Lizzy sent the group a clicker to keep track of how many we say to ourselves.

At first, I noticed I had some resistance to the assignment. Partly because I was still waking up, and I can be a bit slow in the morning.

But then something happened.

As I said my affirmations, I decided to foam roll and clicked the clicker each time. As I slowly got into it, I started to feel... happy. It was as if my mood changed the more I said nice things to myself.

Isn't it funny how that works?

It's so simple, yet when we find ourselves in a slump, we tend to stay in the slump rather than doing things differently to get a different result.

There are many ways to get past low energy, but this one practice did the trick.

For extra credit, you can say affirmations as you drift off to sleep tonight. Telling yourself lovely things as the last thing you say to yourself allows the subconscious to receive goodness. Then the subconscious gets to work on creating goodness while you sleep. And when you wake up, guess how your morning will start?

Then you can build off the momentum from the night before and start your day with lovely, kind words again. And build a cycle of goodness.

The truth is we can keep struggling throughout the day, which can easily turn into struggling in life. Or we can do the little things that, over time, make a big impact.

So which cycle do you want to create? Struggle or Goodness?

With lots of LOVE,
Teresa
