And, ALSO

acceptance agenda agree awareness being communication freedom of speech human body humanity labels moral society truth Mar 26, 2022

Society has taught us that we need a certified label to speak about things we are not experts in. But unfortunately, this external pressure keeps us quiet, plays small, and most importantly, does not trust ourselves.

What's in a label anyway? So someone studied physics, yet does that mean we can't claim to know that 2 + 2 = 4? Someone studied law and passed the bar exam, yet does that mean we can't know the difference between a plaintiff and a defendant?

We are in an extraordinary time in history.

I'm not a biologist, yet I can tell you the difference between a man and a woman. I don't think there is a special degree for that. And yet people are afraid to speak out loud about what has been confirmed for humans since the beginning of time. The fact that we can only procreate because of the differences between men and women is all we need to know.

Not to say that's the end of the conversation.

I do believe we can have an open dialogue about how people want to be considered and ALSO tell the truth. It's not one or the other. It's both.

But to be afraid to speak the truth and disqualify ourselves is not the way to being inclusive.

Ultimately isn't the debate about genders about being inclusive and accepted?

So how about this. The answer is "And, ALSO."
